CHICAGO — Chicago Police say two men have been charged in connection with the shooting death of Nykea Aldridge, cousin of Chicago Bulls player Dwyane Wade.
WGN Chicago reported that brothers Derren Sorrells, 22, and his brother, Darwin, 26, are charged in the case.
Chicago PD spokesman Anthony Guglielmi tweeted that the brothers had been charged.
He said Derren Sorrells is a documented member of the Gangster Disciples and is currently on parole, and Darwin is on parole for a gun charge.
Chicago Police are holding a press conference today and will discuss more about the arrests.
